Summary

Southernmost hut in scattered settlement on Holne Moor. Survey in 1996 recorded this feature: hut measures 4.5 metres in diameter internally with walls 1.5 metres wide by 0.8 metres high. This hut lies in an area of trial pits.

(Visited 04/05/1999) SX 6659 7120 Hut circle forming part of a prehistoric settlement 430 metres north-west of Horn's Cross. Diameter 5.6 metres. Internal area 24.61 metres. Single orthostat wall 1.5 metres wide, 0.5 metres high. Door jamb survives on the west side of the entrance. Grass, bracken and rushes.

This hut lies in an area of trial pits, similar in dimensions as the small huts that make up this settlement.

(Visited 28/02/1996) Centred SX 6659 7127. Eight hut circles, one contemporary structure and a solitary enclosure lie on the moderate west-facing slope above the right bank of the O Brook.
SX 6659 7120 Measures 4.5 metres in diameter internally with walls 1.5 metres wide by 0.8 metres high.
