Full description

(17/05/1999) Military slit trenches within a prehistoric settlement 590m west of Horn's Cross. The pits within enclosure 152284 are relatively recent in date and are probably the result of military activity. The spoil from their excavation is piled around the edges rather than simply thrown out.
