(25/02/2000) A length of corn ditch adjacent to a post Medieval building at Crazy Well Farm, 300m south of Crazy Well Pool. A length of corn ditch denoting the outer edge of Crazy Well Pool. The corn ditch includes an inner bank measuring up to 2.5m wide by 1.4m high which is revetted by drystone walling on its outer face. Adjacent to the outer face is a 2m wide and 0.8m wide ditch. A passageway leading through the corn ditch led to the nearby dwelling, but presumably when this building was abandoned this access was blocked off.
