Adit of iron mine. Feature marked but not identified on first edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map. Other details: Marked up map in parish file.

Newman, P., 2003, Deckler's Cliff Field System, East Portlemouth (Report - Survey). SDV346460.

Large adit portal survives as a linear hollow running into the slope. A spoil heap lies 32 metres to the west and was probably reached by a short section of tramway. A section of a tramway earthwork survives just below the adit leading down to the cliffs. A shafthead survives as a hollow 1.2 metres diameter to the north-east of the adit.
