(25/05/1999) SX 6855 6909 Clapper bridge across Wheal Emma Leat. Six slabs of stone laid over the leat together measuring 1.6m by up to 3m wide. The bridge stands 0.75m high above the base of the leat. The stones have been cut using the tare and feather method. The stone on the n is a reused gate hanger with two iron hangers still in-situ. Third stone from the south has a piece of metal protruding from its western side. Bridge used by vehicular traffic resulting in considerable erosion in the vicinity.
