Gerrard, S., 1990-2002, Monument Protection Programme. Archaeological Item Dataset., 152304 (Report - Survey). SDV277946.

Site visit 1st April 1999. Hut circle, 8.0 metres diameter. Double and single orthostat wall, 1.0 metres wide and 0.6 metres high. Partly buried by soil creep. Vegetation: grass and bracken, the bracken almost exclusively limited to the hut circle.

Hut circle on Horridge Common. A stone hut circle in poor condition located within a neighbourhood group of 16 dispersed huts on Halsanger Common, and the western corner of Rippon Tor enclosure, spread over about 7ha amidst the parallel reaves. Some are attached to reaves, though others are free standing. Condition is stable. SX 75060 74940
