A rectilinear dark cropmark is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1992, and is interpreted as having formed over the buried remains of a ditched enclosure of later prehistoric date. The cropmarks are up to approximately 5 metres wide and in parts parallel linears may indicate that it was double-ditched. Possible entranceways are suggested by breaks in the north and south sides. A possible annex to the south-west is defined by interrupted cropmarks on its east and west sides. The aerial photographs consulted are copies of DAPs held by the Historic England Archive. These have been recorded here as separate sources as there is a possibility that variations in processing could result in images on which archaeological features show differently than on the original images.
