(10/05/2002) Lode back and prospecting pits 820m south west of Laughter Hole Farm forming part of Brimpts Mine. A line of lode back and prospecting pits in the northern corner of enclosure 157122 form the eastern end of a lode back tinwork. They are generally rush filled with some grass with grass and heather on the dumps. A small number of prospecting pits are situated within the western part of enclosure 157122. A pit at SX 65319 75078 measures 2.5m long, 1.7m wide and 0.5m deep. Rushes and grass in pit with gorse on the mound.
Another at SX 65317 75079 has a substantial spoil dump.
A pit at SX 65327 74932 measures 2.5m long by 1.5m wide and 0.25m deep. Rushes and grass in pit grasses and heather on the dump.
