'Vine Cottages' shown, adjacent to railway cutting.

The King's Arms shown is shown on John Wood's plan of Tiverton of 1840. The north-west end of the building was destroyed during the extension to the railway in the 1880's, and the cottages of Vine Terrace subsequently built on the remainder of the site.
