Site of 'beara' farmstead shown on os 25" (1880s) map as a house, two groups of adjoining buildings + three small square buildings around an irregular shaped yard with a track to the west + orchards to the east + west. Some of the buildings are still present on os 1:10000 (1974) map but only the outlines of a few buildings remain on modern maps (os).
