ACE Archaeology Club, 1999, Winkleigh Airfield Survey (Un-published). SDV20447.

The survey of Winkleigh Airfield by ACE Archaeology Club in 1999 compared the 1945 plan with surviving structures. One structure remains of the VHF (Very High Frequency) Receiving Station, which formerly comprised a Receiving Block, Rest Hut and VHF Tower. Other details: Sites 461-463.
