Full description

English Heritage, 2009, Historic Houses Register (List of Blds of Arch or Historic Interest). SDV343599.

Ley Harden.
Former rectory. 1867, designed by R.D. Gould of Barnstaple at a cost of £1,500. Local stone rubble with Bathstone dressings.
Slate roof, stone rubble stacks. Gothic style.
Description approximate as access unobtainable at time of survey (1988).
Asymmetrical plan. The entrance elevation has 3 gables to the front and is slightly set back to left and right, with a slated lean-to porch on stout timbers into the right return of the central block. A second door into the left hand end has a chamfered stopped stone doorframe. Windows include some stone mullioned casements and later windows.
Interior: not inspected. Other details: LBS no 91886.
