Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV148.

The settlement at 'foxhole' is shown on os 25" (1880s) as three large groups of buildings & several detached buildings. These are arranged in & around a sub-circular enclosure surrounded by tracks & roads leading north, east, south, southeast & west. The central group of buildings belong to 'foxhole manor', the eastern group to 'foxhole farm' but the southern group has since disappeared. This farmstead consisted of buildings on three sides of a square yard open to the south with an entrance in the northwest corner (os).
