Vis=-/8/2003 (marcus batty) earthwork banks on stoke down, immediately s of where remnants of old wall, running up from head of swale cove, meet modern post and wire fence. At n end a ne-sw running earthwork bank 22m long, 1m high (sw end) and 0.5m high (ne end). South face if this bank straight, north side seems bowed. Per aps (60/8 and 60/9), two small circular features are evident at this point. A further 40-45m bank runs from the ne end at right angles se (0.25m high) at se end of which a faint bank seems to return ne for 25m.
