Full description

Crowley, J., 1961, Sundials in South Devon, 276 (Article in Serial). SDV4705.

On the south wall there are 2 sundials. The top one is old and obliterated; the other almost at eye level, is a work of art. The daintily designed semicircular dial with hour lines terminating in arrowheads, the worn away shield, of which only the horse supporters are clear, and the 6 little medieval figures are unique. Two tulips fill up the bottom corners. Arabic numerals. No information about it; not very old, and may be a memorial, of bronze.
