Summary

The survey in 2003 found a circular depression c3.5m wide x c0.5m deep on the northern side of the ‘main lode’ which may indicate a shaft or lode back pit. The eastern side of the depression had partly collapsed. Another circular depression 3.5m wide x 0.75m deep was located to the east at sx44307275 & may indicate a shaft or lode back pit. A 1m wide trial trench was located c5m to the north of this depression (buck).
