Summary

The survey in 2003 found that part of the portal roof of a shallow adit had collapsed leaving a 5m deep lobby & high back wall. The floor of the 10m long adit lobby was covered with rubble from the side walls. The route of the leat could be seen running across the back wall whose collapse has obscured the opening (buck).
