Full description
Exeter Archaeology, 2003, East Devon Heathlands Archaeological Survey, 44, Part 2: Gazetteer, Site No. 152 (Report - Survey). SDV101648.
Roughly ‘L’ shaped bank circa 30 metres north-south by 5 metres wide by up to 1 metre high, apparently created by irregular soil dumps, lies on west edge on north-south trackway. Appears relatively modern, although has trees growing on it. Possibly related to World War Two or later military activity. There are small pits/trenches in this wood of World War Two or later date.
