Full description

Exeter Archaeology, 2002, Archaeological Assessment of Tottiford to Newton Abbot Trunk Main, 12 (Report - Assessment). SDV281233.

'Ventiford Bridge' over 'Ventiford Brook' to the west of the main road is built of limestone with chamfered granite capping. On the east side is a length of similarly constructed walling with crude granite block capping. Some blocks have a central groove 7cm wide suggesting reuse.
