28. Earth mound. A roughly circular earth mound about 5.0 metres in diameter and 1.4 metres high. It has a flat top with a low parapet around the edge. The mound is now overgrown with trees but it is possible that it could be a Second World War feature, perhaps a gun emplacement associated with the landing craft repair facility.
