Full description
Exeter Archaeology, 2003, East Devon Heathlands Archaeological Survey, 19, Part 1; 133, Part 2: Gazetteer, Site No. 321 (Report - Survey). SDV101648.
Remains of one of a group of buildings of probable World War Two date (see also sites 286, 287, 320, 322). Concrete building platform 6 metres north/south by 2.45 metres east/west by 0.10 metre high. Contains remains of four brick plinths. Ditch 0.4 metre wide by 0.3 metre deep runs around part of perimeter. The ditch extends from north end of east side, turns west along north side, and continues westward to another building (site 322). The trenches may have been communication routes.
