Full description
Buck, C., 2005, Wheal Russell Mine, Devon: Archaeological Assessment, 19 (Report - Assessment). SDV336659.
A small quarry (Site 2) was identified during an assessment at Wheal Russell Mine in 2005 on the east side of the mine track running parallel to the railway line. The feature was not shown on the 19th century archive maps but may have been used to provide stone for the railway track bed. The back wall was 6 meters long by 5 meters high.
