Full description

Buck, C., 2005, Wheal Russell Mine, Devon: Archaeological Assessment, 38-9 (Report - Assessment). SDV336659.

Site of a building (Site 41) shown on 19th century maps. The feature has been interpreted as a flat rod crank & angle bob pits with a shaft at the northern end. The survey in 2005 found a raised area of earth & rubble on the north side of the track with a 2.5 meter square depression to the north.
