A finger post (c.1930s) located at Torrington Cross, on the grass verge in a hedge, on the north side of the road. It was found to be in poor condition, with most of the arms rusting, including the central post. It's legend read 'Chittlehamton' on the left hand arm, 'South Molton 3/ B3227' on the right hand arm, 'B3227/Umberleigh 4/Torrington' on the centre, and 'Torrington/???' on the post. Arms were noted as missing on 11/6/2007, and it was reported as broken on 24/7/2007. Other details: Surveyed 12/10/2005.
