Rollstone Farmhouse.
Farmhouse. Late 17th century; early 18th century bay added to right; shippon to left, remodelled in mid 19th century and 20th century as dwelling, to left. Coursed slatestone rubble with colourwashed render over cob first floor; gabled slate roof, with artificial slates to rear; rendered stone ridge and end stacks. 2-unit plan extended to 3-unit plan with through-passage (blocked to rear) to right of central hall. 2 storeys; 5-window range. Gabled mid 19th century porch with round-arched outer doorway and 20th century inner door. Flat rendered arches over 20th century two to 4-light casements. Early/mid 19th century dairy outshut to rear. Shippon to left remodelled as 2-storey dwelling.
Interior: chamfered bressummers over three ground-floor open fireplaces. Room to left has stop-chamfered beam and plank door set in beaded frame to dairy with stone-flag floor in rear outshut. Central room has plank door set in similar architrave.
Roof has A-frame trusses with pegged collars. Other details: LBS number 91364.
