Full description
Department of Environment, 1988, Alwington, 45 (List of Blds of Arch or Historic Interest). SDV20166.
Barn approximately 16 metres north of Rollstone Farmhouse.
Probably early 19th century. Render over cob and stone; 20th century brick repairs to rear wall. Gabled corrugated iron roof. 5-bay plan, originally with central threshing floor. Timber lintels over central double entry, central loft window, 20th century window to left and blocked window to right.
Interior: 5-bay A-frame roof, each truss having pegged collars and ridge purlin set in crossed apex.
