Seven fields include word 'Vernham' and may contain location of home of Hamond de Fernham, taxed in 1332. Fields lay between wood and road, west of SS33542341 and east of SS32872327, with one to south at SS33272321. Ordnance Survey maps show 'Lower Bight of Fernham' along shore.
