Full description

English Heritage, 2010, Historic Houses Register (List of Blds of Arch or Historic Interest). SDV154869.

Illegible headstone approximately 18 metres south-east of the chancel of the Church of St Mary. Headstone. 18th century. Hamstone. Upright slab standing approximately 1.3 metres high with shaped head carved with scrolls and a winged cherubs head. The panel below is surrounded by a frame carved with scrolled foliage. The inscription is Roman serif upper and lower case lettering but is so lightly incised as to be illegible in all but perfect lighting conditions. Date listed: 16th March 1988.
