‘Cadworthy’ farm, Meavy is depicted on the Tithe Map.

Cadworthy was mentioned as 'Cadeworth' in 1284, 'Cadaworth' in 1291 and 'Cadworthy' in 1493.

Buildings at Cadworthy are thought to date to the early 19th century and are granite constructions.
