Worth, R. N., 1891, President's Address, 77 (Article in Serial). SDV158810.

Coins of Valerianus, Gallienus, Claudius Gothicus, Postumus, Victorianus the elder: apparently found at Furzeleigh, 1837. Worth makes copious use of Davidson, noting that "Ashburton Coins of Claudius, Decius" have been found.

Amery, J. S., 1924, (Presidential Address) The Ashburton of past days: its manners, customs and inhabitants, 46 (Article in Serial). SDV315287.

Frequent discoveries of coins of Claudius, Decius and other emperors have been made at Ashburton.

Brailsford, J. W., 1938, Bronze Age Stone Monuments of Dartmoor, 459 (Article in Serial). SDV304210.

Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division, 1951, SX76NE1 (Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division Card). SDV347211.

Ordnance Survey card originally records that Worth’s reference is ‘Coin of Claudius and Decius found at Ashburton’. Card states no further information on the site or date of these finds but they are thought to be the same as the hoard found at Furzeleigh.

Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division, 1978, SX76NW25 (Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division Card). SDV295688.

Roman coin hoard at Furzeleigh (SX 7467).

Ordnance Survey, 2011, MasterMap (Cartographic). SDV346129.
