The Lodge, Chapel Road, is built of plain red brick with a wrought iron gate and railings, and cast iron detail to porch. Other details: Map, photograph.

Lodge house to Barnhill. Later-19th century. Red brick, in stretcher bond, gabled-end, tiled roof, with end-stacks. Two-storeys. Central door with open-work porch, gabled, typanum with lattice work, supported on wooden columns on lattice-work base. Symmetrical 4 windows, all 2-light, with 2 windows to street end. An attractive brick building that forms a nice visual foil to the group formed by Nos.1-6 Chapel Road and Hillcott.
