Sherril / Cave-Penney Cross at SX683738 (on Corndon Down) This cross measures 1.3 metres in height and 0.74 metres in circumference. It stands on an inscribed boulder known as 'The Belstone Bible' and was erected in memory of Evelyn Anthony Cave-Penney, from Sherril, who died in 1918 in Palestine, aged 19.
