Full description
Fisher, J., 1999, East Devon Conservation Area Appraisals: Salcombe Regis, 4-5 (Report - non-specific). SDV346784.
The former village school, now a private house, retains its character and is built of local materials including ashlared Beer stone. Other details: Maps, photograph.

School House (Formerly listed as School). Formerly village school now private residence. Situated to east of Northcombe Farmhouse. Circa 1840 single storey flint rubble building. Front, flanking projecting gabled bays with wavy bargeboards. Stone rubble gabled porch to centre with engraved text. Thatched roof. Two and 3-light casement windows. Door has 3 panels and 2 lights with 4-centred arches. Northcombe Farmhouse and School House form a group.
