Summary
One of a number of hut circles associated with a possible Iron Age settlement east of Sherwell on Corndon Down. Set within the Dartmeet parallel reave system. A hut circle which has a diameter of 5.0 metres, with a level interior, despoiled, several orthostats in situ, adjacent to medieval wall, probably robbed out, no visible entrance.

One of at least ten hut circles in the Sherwell prehistoric settlement, which consists of a number of fields within the reave system, many with a single hut circle built at the edge or corner.
The remains of hut circles 9 and 10 (4.6 / 2.5 meters in diameter) share the same field. Other details: Map 15, 1.
