An early 19th century farmstead with a relatively complete set of traditional buildings, which have been much adapted in the 20th century.

Farm lies alongside the east side of the road which doglegs round the front of the farmhouse. The yard entrance is behind the west end of the house with the garage/former cart shed off the north side, forming the west side of the yard. A row of low former animal sheds form the east side and are attached to the rear of the farmhouse. The north side of the yard is made up of the old barn (now a milking parlour) with former cattle shed adjoining to the east. All the buildings, except for the main part of the animal houses were built between 1800 and 1840. There is a mid- late 19th century shelter shed in a nearby field to the south of the steading.
