Full description

Hurrell, L. E., 2010, Flint found at Owley Farm (Worksheet). SDV347767.

One small flint found at Owley Farm in March 2010 in soil excavated from along the north wall of Higher Barn, Owley Farm. Flake examined in detail by Robert Waterhouse and identified as an end scraper for defleshing animal hides, dating to the Neolithic / early Bronze Age period. Measures 3.5 centimetres in length and 2.0 centimetres in width. (Photograph included). Other details: Photograph included.
