HER Number:MDV81281
Name:Earthworks from agricultural improvement north of Pattard Cross

Summary

Modern narrow ridge and furrow is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs from 1946, presumably a result of deep ploughing for agricultural improvement. Examination of aerial photographs from 1999 suggests that the earthworks survive at least in part.

Narrow ridge and furrow approximately 4 metres apart and running roughly north to south across this field is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs from 1946, presumably a result of deep ploughing for agricultural improvement. Although difficult to see due to vegetation growth, the earthworks appear to be visible at least in the southern part of the field in 1999.
