Hegarty, C. + Knight, S., 2011 - 2012, North Devon Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty National Mapping Programme Project (Interpretation). SDV349018.

A curvilinear bank is visible on aerial photographs between 1946 and 1977 as an earthwork aligned appriximately east to west and 2 metres wide. It is parallel to extant curvilinear hedgebanks and is probably a relict medieval field boundary. Several rows of pig pens are visible in this location on aerial photographs of 1999, and the bank is not visible; it is therefore possible that the earthwork has been levelled or reduced in height for agricultural reasons between 1977 and 1999.
