Full description
Russell, P., 1955, Fire Beacons in Devon (Article in Serial). SDV336138.
The white tower and staff was erected by the new Harbour Commission in 1864, but a large house above bore the name Beacon before the light-house was erected.

Lighthouse demolished march 1980, due to be replaced by another (wmn).
