This is apparently the East end of the Shapley Common reave system [SX 68 SE 178]. The Shapley Common terminal reave starts a little due East of King's Barrow (SX 78 SW 6), heading north-west from a stream around the contour. It is joined by a reave coming upslope from the north-east. It continues north-west around the contour before entering the Gold Park Newtake at SX703816. At least five parallel reaves extend north-east off this terminal reave.
