'Jews Bridge' is shown on OS 25" (1880s) map at the meeting point of the three parishes of Kingsteignton, Bovey Tracey & Teigngrace.

Bequest in 1406 from Bishop Stafford for the upkeep of this bridge and an indulgence granted for its repair by Bishop Lacy in 1421.

Site of medieval Jews Bridge. Reference in 1406 to 'Ponti Iudeorum'. Repairs ordered 1643. Present bridge (1938) has replaced the one with 3 arches that existed in 1809.

Bridge was listed Grade II. In 1809 it had one narrow segmental arch, but probably widened since.
