Circa 1750, originally one house, subdivided circa 1900. 2 storeys. Irregular 3 window front on north side to South Street. Welsh slate roof with old rendered stack. Devonian limestone rubble ground floor and slate-hung, timber-framed first floor. Rendered front. Recessed, sash and Yorkshire sash windows with glazing bars. Original entrance (Number 20) with console-bracketed cornice, plain surround and panelled door. Number 19 with modern entrance. At rear, architraved sash windows with side lights to first floor (citing M. Laithwaite).
