Dark stone inscription tablet set within a light stone frame. Incised inscription in gold painted lettering. Inscription: PER CRUCEM AD PACEM/ HALLOWED IN CHRIST BE THE MEMORY OF ALL WHO FOR KING & COUNTRY & THE FREEDOM OF THE WORLD GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE GREAT WAR. THEY SHALL YET STAND BEFORE THE THRONE OF GOD AND EXCEEDINGLY GREAT ARMY AND IN THAT LAST GREAT MUSTER SHALL BE FOUND THESE OUR OWN BELOVED/ (NAMES)/ ALL OF BOVEY TRACEY/ "THEIR BELOVED IS WITH THE LORD AND THE CARE OF THEM WITH THE MOST HIGH".
