Full description

n aerial photograph taken in 1970 shows an hexagonal Type FW3/22 pillbox close to the waters edge on the beach at this point. It can be faintly made out, with its entrance on the landward side, on an aerial photograph taken in 1960 but is not apparent on a 1946 a/p. <1> <2> <3> <4>
A 1981 a/p shows no apparent signs of it <5>
