Full description

1996: An aerial photograph taken in 1946 shows an FW3/22 pillbox, possibly with a protective “skirt”, on the seashore approximately 100 yards to the W of Martello Tower "D". <1> <2>

An aerial photograph taken in 1960 shows it to have been demolished by that date. <3>

2006: This stretch of the coast has been extensively re-profiled and the position of the pillbox in the modern landscape is very difficult to determine.
