Full description
It is locally recalled that an hexagonal pillbox stood on the seawall E of Havengore Bridge. This can be seen on aerial photographs taken in August 1946 and June 1960 – hexagonal, facing NE across Havengore Creek from the leading slope of the seawall. The entrance can be seen on the SW side. <1> <2>
Nothing of it now survives.
