Aerial photographs taken by the RAF in 1947 show what appears to be a pillbox standing at this point, however, it cannot be seen on AP's taken in 1960. <1> <2> The position is entirely logical as one of the regularly spaced pillboxes to the W of the Royal Gunpowder Mills.
