An aerial photograph, probably taken in 1946, shows the clear shape of a pillbox standing on the sea wall overlooking Holehaven Creek. <1> The shape appears to conform to the pillbox extant on the dyke further N (SMR 10331) - square with "chamfered" corners. An aerial photograph taken in 1960 shows it to have been demolished by that date. <2>
