A 1:1250 map drawn in 1964 shows the hexagonal shape of a pillbox just outside the W corner of RAF Chigwell. <1> The area is now a small clump of trees. A few yards to the E of the site is a camp sewage chamber which still survives. Two photos of site. <2>
