Contemporary records state, "Sibleys Farm. Pillboxes in O.S. Nos. 1a,14,10,11, and 44 (3)". <1> Although two of the pillboxes in field no. 44 still exist (SMR's 10439 and 10440) there is no indication of the former position of the third. It does not appear on an aerial photograph taken in 1949. <2> Originally, this field was T-shaped lying alongside and above the anti-tank ditch of the GHQ Line. <3>
